The towns of Albay, Sorsogon, Camarines Sur, and Camarines Norte were soon added to Mr. Ammen’s fleet as a result of the success of his transportation business ventures. When highway transportation was introduced, ALATCO became the main carrier in the Bicol area, bringing remote communities in Bicolandia closer to the hub of economic and social development.
